Instant Marie Biscuit Chocolate Truffles

A SUPER easy and addictive sweet made using biscuits and a handful of ingredients; these truffles are a MUST-TRY this festive season and beyond!

Instructions

  • Add marie biscuits to a food processor.
  • Blitz the marie biscuits. These can be ground smooth or left slightly gritty.
  • Transfer to a large bowl. Add ground almonds.
  • Add in cocoa powder and shredded chocolate.
  • Mix the dry ingredients and add in condensed milk.
  • Bring everything together to start forming a dough. 
  • Once it all comes together, knead for a minute till smooth.
  • Make a small ball using the dough.
  • Repeat till all the dough is used. Make them as equal size as you can. Set them aside.
  • Roll each bowl in your choice of toppings like shredded coconut, shredded chocolate, pistachio powder. The ones left without toppings can be rolled in silver edible varakh.

Notes

  • Use any soft biscuit or cracker that crumbles well. Having large bits will not result in smooth truffles.
  • Adjust the condensed milk if you switch the biscuits for a sweeter version.
  • These truffles are great when rolled in nut meals or chocolate. They can be dipped in melted chocolate too. 
  • Refrigerate the truffles till a few minutes before serving.
