Khasta Kachori Chaat

A delicious take on Chaat, we use mini kachoris with an array of toppings to make this Khasta Kachori Chaat.

  • In a bowl add yogurt, sugar and chaat masala.
  • Whip till it comes together to a smooth mix. Set aside.
  • In a plate arrange the mini kachoris. Make a hole in the top covering but not through the entire kachori.
  • Add diced onions and tomatoes in each kachori.
  • Then add the seasoned yogurt to each kachori.
  • Next add the three chutneys as per taste.
  • Then add the toppings like sev, pomegranate, cilantro, chaat masala and red chili powder.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • The recipe is best enjoyed fresh. Once made, it starts to turn soggy because of the yogurt and chutneys. If serving at a party, assemble this last.
  • This version is made using whole kachoris as they are tiny. If using full size kachoris, cut it into pieces before assembling the chaat.
  • The toppings can be changed based on preferences. I have used the ones most people enjoy with their chaat recipes.
