Mumbai  Pav Bhaji

Pav Bhaji is the most popular Indian street food; spicy mashed mix of vegetables topped with butter and served with toasted dinner rolls. Making this at home is actually pretty easy and results in a super delicious meal in a matter of minutes.

Main Ingredients

Boil some potatoes, cauliflower and peas with some salt.

Heat butter in a pan and add ginger, chili paste and red garlic chutney.

Sauté and then add chopped onions and peppers. Cook them well.

Add the chopped tomatoes and mix well. Cook them through.

Add in the boiled vegetables.

Mash everything using a potato masher.

Season with pav bhaji masala and red chili powder, salt.

Mix well and boil for a couple of minutes.

Serve topped with onions  alongside toasted bread.
